Subsea Pumping Technology (SPT)

Reduce or eliminate your topside footprint by moving chemical storage and injection systems subsea, reducing the cost and complexity of conventional umbilicals.

With SPT, operators can reduce or completely eliminate their topside footprint by moving chemical storage and injection capabilities subsea, offering alternate value-added contributions to subsea tieback architectures and other operational applications where chemicals or hydraulics are required for operational integrity management or flow assurance purposes on subsea production systems.

Making Subsea Factories a Reality

Our Subsea Pumping Technology (SPT) offers value-added contributions to tieback architectures and applications where chemicals are required for operational integrity management or flow assurance purposes.

The SPT system reduces or eliminates the storage, pumping, and delivery systems that typically occupy valuable topside real estate and the interface resources associated with topside chemical storage, bunkering, and handling. Multiple efficiencies can be realized by moving the equipment to the seabed and positioning them locally to the points of demand. Tanks of chemical product are replenished via tank exchange or filling from support vessel down lines.

Additionally, the local storage and injection concept is a strong enabler for longer subsea tiebacks, where chemical delivery and distribution to the fields via long and or multiple umbilical sections is challenging and costly.
